SPECTRA DET2 2 Digital Theodolite

The Spectra Precision DET-2 Digital Electronic Theodolite makes measuring vertical and horizontal angles simple and fast. With 2-second accuracy, this optical surveying instrument is exacting enough to meet the toughest job specifications.

Tilt Sensor and Telescope
If the DET-2 theodolite goes out of level, the tilt sensor will automatically correct for any shift in the tripod and keep the accuracy of the vertical angle. A high quality telescope with 30x magnification, along with a short minimum focus distance, delivers clear and unclouded views of your target from any distance.

Customizable Settings
Customize the display resolution and choose display readings of 1-second or 5-second depending on preference. Surveyors can also instantly convert the vertical angle to percentage of grade. Options such as setting the vertical or horizontal angle to zero, selecting the horizontal angle hold, or taking clockwise or counterclockwise angle measurements are all available with the press of a button.

Intuitive Operation
Located on both sides of the device, its large LCD displays are clear and easy to read. The backlit screens also ensure visibility and clarity no matter what the lighting conditions are with the built-in reticle illuminator. This digital transit also has a six-button keypad that allows easy access with the most commonly used measurement functions.

Dual Battery Packs
With an IP-54 environmental rating, the DET 2 theodolite is dust and water resistant.  It also comes equipped with an NiMH rechargeable battery pack along with a charger and an extra AA alkaline battery pack. An optional automatic shut-off setting can also be selected for higher battery efficiency and to conserve battery life..
